Our Technology

Conductive’s lithium extraction process consists of two steps. First, our proprietary ion-exchange materials extract lithium from brine. The output from the ion-exchange step is high-quality lithium chloride. The second step is an electrolytic refining process that produces battery-grade lithium carbonate. Our refining system also recovers value-add products that are reused in our process.

Conductive can produce battery-grade lithium carbonate. We are progressing R&D for lithium hydroxide.

THE PROCESS

Conductive’s ion-exchange materials selectively extract lithium from brine resources, producing lithium chloride. We manufacture the proprietary ion-exchange materials in-house.

Lithium chloride is processed through Conductive’s electrolytic refining process where the output is a battery-grade lithium that is ready to be shipped to buyers in the battery supply chain.

Our Projects

Conductive’s ion-exchange materials selectively extract lithium from brine resources, producing a clean lithium-rich liquor within one cycle. One cycle refers to the ion-exchange materials’ lithium adsorption of the brine with an acid wash following.
